My One Year Anniversary of Being an Immigrant to Mexico

March 31, 2019

Keep Calm

Whoo! How time flies! On this day last year, I officially received my permanent resident card and became a legal immigrant of Mexico. Mexico has changed my life in ways I can’t even imagine and I’m forever grateful. Healed my soul after my mother passed away, I have two permanent homes, my business is growing, skin glowing, health on point, the list goes on. I literally CRY tears of JOY when I think about it.

Now how do I want to celebrate?! 😂🇲🇽

Elyse Y. Robinson

Without a plan, Elyse Y. Robinson moved to México City after her mother passed away from blood cancer on November 11, 2016. She never heard of México City nor even visited México before. She just knew she had to escape America to mourn. She had quit her whole life to help her family anyway. She had nothing more to lose. She is going into her fourth year in México and she is there to stay!
